Philosophy of Care

Our philosophy of care is to foster patient independence utilizing a variety of physical therapy techniques including manual therapies, body mechanics and postural reeducation, gait analysis, biomechanical analysis, therapeutic exercise prescription, and modalities as we deem appropriate and necessary based upon your thorough initial evaluation.

Although other types of practitioners will offer some of these treatments as ‘physical therapy’, it is important for you to know that physical therapy can only be provided by qualified physical therapists or physical therapist assistants.  Physical therapists are experts within the field of movement science, and are extensively trained to evaluate and treat injury or diseases relating to the motion of the human body. The physical therapy staff at Prescription Fitness Physical Therapy and Sports Care possesses the highest level of formal education, Doctor of Physical Therapy, which can be obtained within the field of physical therapy.  We are committed to continued provision of the highest level of care through ongoing education on a yearly basis.
